The healthcare industry is ready for change, and we’re laser focused on delivering a better model that provides an affordable, efficient, and great patient experience that’s accessible to all.

Success will require close collaboration across Product, Engineering, Support, Clinical Operations, and Executive Leadership to balance our product roadmap across short-term initiatives and long-term strategy. As team lead, multiple product managers will report to you. This is a highly visible role that requires excellent presentation skills and ability to contribute to strategic discussions with internal and external stakeholders, including large enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Product Managers, facilitating collaboration, professional development, process, and the overall growth of a world class product management practice

  • Own major aspects of the product roadmap and curation and dissemination of roadmap updates from various teams

  • Act as product owner for specific teams or key initiatives, as needed.

  • Write exemplary user stories and requirements, with clear acceptance criteria, even for technical or highly complex projects, and train others in this area

  • Foster collaboration with product designers, engineers, quality assurance, sales, and marketing to explore, prioritize and launch novel solutions

  • Facilitate an agile delivery process, running standups, regular planning meetings, project kickoffs, and retros, as needed

  • Represent internal and external customers by understanding their needs and product requirements

  • Build trust with leadership, engineers, customer-facing teams, and key customers

  • Be and expert in competing solutions and market needs

  • Review proposed customer SOWs (statements of work) before they are finalized to ensure accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with DocGo’s product strategy

  • Track and report on success metrics for key business lines and product roadmap initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)

  • 5+ years’ experience in a product management role

  • Extensive experience managing software development backlogs in a software company environment with scale (multiple product teams)

  • Experience in a management role with direct reports is highly preferred

  • Experience leading an agile process i.e. Scrum, Kanban, or XP

  • Experience with microservices or service-oriented architectures is a plus

  • Ability to report to the office 4-5 days per week (this is not a remote position)

  • You must be a great communicator and presenter. You communicate in a professional and personable manner. You enjoy working with and learning from fellow leaders, development team members, client facing teams, customers, and executives.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • A desire to create change in an industry that truly needs it, to create a model for more equitable, affordable, and effective healthcare for everyone
