About The Job:

DocGo is seeking an Onboarding & Employee Engagement Specialist to join our Human Resources team in our rapidly growing organization. This role is an entry into the world of Human Resources Management and Employee Engagement. As an integral member of Human Resources team, the Specialist delivers an exceptional new hire experience by providing a red-carpet onboarding experience and timely customer service, while maintaining quality and data integrity, throughout the pre-employment onboarding process. The Specialist manages the relationship with the new hire and is responsible for hiring-related transactions from start to completion.  

The Specialist is part of the national Human Resources team and partners with new hires, Recruiters, Human Resource Managers/HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and other cross-functional teams within the organization to ensure a seamless onboarding experience. The incumbent analyzes metrics to deliver dashboards on performance and assists with employee engagement related projects including process improvement initiatives and events. The incumbent will be mapping out vital employee experience touchpoints, organizing resources, events and/or sessions to support a positive employee experience, and will be an important point of contact for the employee experience and talent development team at DocGo. We are looking for a dynamic self-starter, someone comfortable in front of an audience and is a consummate relationship builder. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Leads efforts in ensuring an engaging and positive onboarding experience for new employees

  • Lead and coordinate Human Resources new hire orientation in conjunction with the key stakeholders in Training & Education, Operations, and management 

  • Initiates the pre-employment screening process for new hires including but not limited to criminal background check, drug-screening, MVR, health-screening, references, and credential validation 

  • Monitors, manages, tracks, and updates completion of onboarding activities for new candidates.  

  • Work within the HR systems of records to onboard new hires, update data, initiate system access requests, as relevant  

  • Send emails to candidates and lines of business using templates throughout the onboarding process 

  • Coordinates closely with the talent acquisition team to successfully complete new hire, rehire, and contingent worker entries into the HRIS system. 

  • Act as a resource to all new hires and their managers with questions and supply necessary resources needed to successfully bring them aboard. 

  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and oversee I9 and E-verify process 

  • Assist with developing, modifying, and executing onboarding programs 

  • Regularly assesses and recommends program changes and enhancements to drive better engagement of new hires. 

  • Follow up with new employees to evaluate on-boarding experience and recommend ways to enhance the new hire onboarding programs and experience 

  • Assesses new hire surveys and compiles data to develop insights on the new employee experience 

  • Collaborates with HR colleagues, employees, and leaders to build a culture of positive employee experience 

  • Conducts and reports on organizational engagement survey, including supporting administration and delivering on improvement plans. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience. 

  • Experience with enhancing the employee experience through engagement initiatives highly desirable. 

  • Data analytics and reporting certification highly desirable. 

  • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience required 

  • Effective communication skills and Strong Analytical skills 

  • Ability to interact well with others, address and resolve issues 

  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook 

  • Workday experience preferred 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills 

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
